This 2004 Najad 400 centre cockpit blue water cruiser is presented in good condition and has been under single ownership since launch. Designed by Judel/Vrolijk, she measures 12.2m LOA with a 3.85m beam and 2m draft, featuring a 4-ton lead keel and half-skeg rudder configuration. The fiberglass hull was fitted with Coppercoat antifouling with paint refreshed in 2021. The yacht was lift-stored indoors every winter until 2018. The African mahogany interior provides two-cabin accommodation with a single head. The owner's cabin is located aft with full beam width and a central double berth. A separate shower cabin is positioned port forward. The galley is equipped with an oven and refrigerator, and the vessel has a 40L hot water boiler. A stainless holding tank with sea discharge is fitted. Power comes from a 2003 Yanmar 4JH3E producing 56hp, currently showing 3230 hours. The engine drives a four-blade feathering Variprop via shaft drive, with the shaft seal renewed in 2019. Fuel capacity is 240 litres. The electrical system runs on 230V shore power with a Victron Multiplus Compact charger/inverter installed in 2022. Three 165Ah gel service batteries were fitted in 2022 and a 70Ah starter battery in 2023. A DCC4000 BMS manages the system. Energy generation includes a Superwind wind generator from 2018 and 120Wp folding solar panels. An Eberspächer D5L diesel heater provides heating. An Aquabase ESB30 watermaker producing 35 litres per hour was installed in 2024. Deck equipment includes an electric Lofrans 1000W windlass with a 20kg Bruce anchor and 60m of chain. Andersen winches comprise two 52.2ST units for the genoa and two 40.2ST for the mainsheet. The Selden 9/10 rig features Furlex 300 genoa furling, a cutter stay with quick release, and Doyle/Oleu sails. Teak covers the side decks, cockpit and bathing platform. Canvas includes a sprayhood from 2024, cockpit enclosure from 2022, and bimini from 2019. Removable davits carry a 2023 Highfield dinghy with Honda outboard. Raymarine electronics include ST60 Log/Depth, i60 Wind, ST6001+ autopilot with gyro sensor, 4kW radar with chart overlay, and a 10-inch Raychart cockpit display. Safety equipment includes Avon liferafts and a radar reflector. The yacht is currently located in La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, Spain, with berth booked until November 2025.
